PSG-1 CORSE: PRIME QUALIFICHE SUL TRACCIATO DI PHILLIP ISLAND

 

Un  inizio al di sotto delle aspettative per il team PSG-1 Corse in questa prima giornata di qualifiche sul circuito australiano di Phillip Island ma che non spaventa la squadra, consapevole delle motivazioni dei risultati odierni.

 

Nulla di preoccupante e assolutamente da imputare al non aver potuto provare le moto su pista quanto gli altri team.

 

MATTEO BAIOCCO #15: “ Il risultato di oggi non è di certo cosa per la quale allarmarsi. Non avendo potuto testare approfonditamente la moto, è normale non essere al momento competitivi quanto gli altri.

Abbiamo sfruttato la giornata per verificare seriamente tutti i parametri e sviluppare la strategia da adottare per ottenere una moto più gestibile. Questo sarà possibile andando ad intervenire sulla ciclistica modificando le altezze della moto. Sono certo che già da domani potremo avvicinarci agli altri migliorando i tempi”.

 

AYRTON BADOVINI #86: “ Non credo ci sia da preoccuparsi per come è andata la giornata. Sia io che Matteo siamo fermi da diversi mesi ed abbiamo potuto testare le moto solo una volta durante lo stop invernale, tra l’altro su un tracciato decisamente diverso da questo.

Domani apporteremo drastici cambiamenti sulla ciclistica agendo su offset, cambiando il forcellone e variando anche l’altezza dell’attacco”.

Prime qualifiche sul tracciato di Phillip Island

PSG-1 CORSE: FIRST DAY OF QUALIFICATION AT PHILLIP ISLAND TRACK

 

The first day of qualification at Phillip Island track, Australia, didn’t bring satisfactions to

PSG-1 Corse team which is anyway not scared because aware of the motivations of a such result.

 

Nothing to be worried about as the only reason is that the team couldn’t test the bikes as much as the other teams.

 

MATTEO BAIOCCO #15: “ There’s no reason to become alarmed about the result got today. We couldn’t deeply test the bike so it’s quite normal that right now we’re not as competitive as the others. We spent this day to seriously verify all the variables  and to develop the strategy we have to adopt in order to get a more manageable bike. Tomorrow we’ll focus on frame geometries setting different heights and I’m sure we’ll improve our times”.

 

AYRTON BADOVINI # 86: “  I don’t think we shall be worried about today’s performance. Both Matteo and me are coming from a long winter stop where we could test the bikes on track just once, besides in an extremely different circuit. Tomorrow we’ll make drastic changes on frame geometry acting on the offset and changing the swing arm”.
